Sir Robert Boyd is the current head of research and development

for the Greater Manchester National Health Service. He was a former Principal of St George's Hospital Tooting and pro vice chancellor of UCL. He is a pioneer in the field of paediatrics. In September he will give a lecture on the future of medicine.
